We don't just build with wood — we listen to it
Squirrel's Nest Woodworking began as a one-person pursuit in a rented garage, driven by the belief that a well-made piece of furniture carries a quiet dignity that mass production can never replicate.
Today, our Kasota workshop is home to a small team of craftspeople who treat every board, joint, and finish as a promise to the person who will live with it for decades. We work primarily with domestic hardwoods — walnut, cherry, maple, and white oak — sourced from sustainable mills within the region.
Whether it's a dining table for Sunday dinners or built-in shelving for a study, we approach each commission with the same care: measuring twice, cutting once, and leaving nothing to chance.
